CANDLE CARE
When enjoying your candle for the first time, burn until the wax has melted the entire surface before extinguishing to ensure that the candle does not “tunnel”. A good melt pool will give off the best fragrance throw.
We recommend burning for a minimum of 4 hours for candle jars and 2 hours for candle tins the first time you enjoy your candle to prevent tunneling. It also helps your candle maintain a nice clean burn!
SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Always trim the wick to ¼ inch before every burn. Long or crooked wicks can cause uneven burning or flaring.
Follow the 2-foot rule by not placing a burning candle within 2 feet of clothing, books, curtains, or other flammable objects.
Keep lit candles away from drafts, ceiling fans, and any air currents to keep the flame burning steadily in the center of the candle.
Place the candle on a stable, heat-resistant surface to help prevent possible heat damage to counters and table surfaces and prevent glass containers from cracking or breaking.
Never touch or move a burning candle.
Don’t burn your candle down to the bottom of the vessel. For a margin of safety, discontinue burning a candle when 1/2 inch of wax remains.
Always burn candles in a well-ventilated room. Do not burn too many candles in a small room or in a “tight” space where air exchange is limited.
Keep candles out of the reach of children and pets.
